A new type of music fame emerged 40 years ago, with artists releasing mega hits and experiencing fame unlike anything we've ever seen.
“With Jaafar, every look, every note, every dance move is Michael. He embodies Michael in a way that no other actor could.”
The documentary will feature interviews with artists involved with 'We Are The World', including Lionel Richie, Bruce Springsteen, Cyndi Lauper, Kenny Loggins, Dionne Warwick, Huey Lewis, and more.
'MJ The Musical' goes beyond the distinctive dance moves and singing style and promises a rare look into the mind of Michael Jackson.
“What the f*ck am I gonna do with them? Those are my f*ckin’ heroes, man.”
"It’s incredibly exciting to watch Jaafar bring Michael to life."
"For me, there is no artist with the power, the charisma, and the sheer musical genius of Michael Jackson."
"I wanted to see some of the people I missed again in front of me and that’s how this project emerged."
The Sonic Origins remaster of Sonic 3 already confirmed that it would not include Jackson's alleged musical creations, choosing a new arrangement from Jun Senoue.
The two-part doco will air on 3 & 4 March.
