Ahead of their performance at WOMADelaide, Adelaide duo Problems return with their new single Pretending..
A stella line up led up to Melbourne's Willow Beats rhythmic set.
Some hometown pride for this remix of Problems' Capture Me by WA lad JL.. As mentioned earlier in the week when we posted Paces' remix for Adelaide duo Problems' new single Capture Me (listen HERE), they're making some serious inroads into the Aussie producer scene. And while you can check out the original version of the tune via this wavey VIDEO CLIP, our attention turns towards the next in a few remixes of the tune from some select Aussie beatsmiths. Today's effort comes from mysterious WA dude JL, who keeps the chill vibes of the track in tact, while putting his own spin on proceedings. If you were looking for the definition of "chilltrap" - the intro for this track is definitely it, before things toughen up around the one minute mark. Enjoy the stream below, and head to Problems' FACEBOOK for some cheeky freebies. Follow JL: FACEBOOK // SOUNDCLOUD Follow Problems: FACEBOOK // SOUNDCLOUD
Pilerats' fave $wag lord Paces chills things down for the first of a few Problems remixes.. Adelaide duo Problems are making some serious inroads into the Aussie producer scene if their new single Capture Me is anything to go by. While you can check out the original version of the tune via this wavey VIDEO CLIP, this week the focus shifts towards a pretty sweet remix package that kicked off last Friday with none other than ya boi Paces. Having a killer year himself (including recently slaying Splendour In The Grass), he had this to say of of a somewhat more subdued re-work than we're used to: "I’ve been learning some music theory lately. This is the first of a bunch of new tunes I’ve made with a slightly improved grasp on what I’m doing. Hope you vibe on it!" Well we do vibe on it mate, and you can take a listen below and download it for free via Problems' FACEBOOK, and check back this Friday when we might have a cheeky little Problems remix to premiere ourselves. Safia's layered electro-pop at Pirie & Co was emotive and energetic as any live show.
There’s a large degree of aimlessness underpinning this delicately down-tempo release.
