Safia release an apocalyptic new clip for their latest single.. Safia have launched their charge into the 2014/15 summer, first with new single You Are The One, and now with a video clip for that track directed by Jimmy Ennett. Telling a tale of heartbreak/finding lost love to the backdrop of an apocalyptic suburban street, it also doubles as a fun 'spot the mates', with cameos from the band themselves, Citizen Kay and Yeo. Safia's new single makes it three for three.. Following the release of previous singles Listen To Soul, Listen To Blues and Paranoia, Ghosts & Other Sounds, Safia have dropped their third single, and You Are The One is a sligthly bouncier affair than previous releases. Setting the stage perfectly for a summer roadtrip or poolside hangs, vocalist Ben Woolner-Kirkham once again rises to the occasion with some soaring falsetto action, and it works nicely with a slightly more uptempo beat from the Canberra trio. Safia are three very young chaps fresh out of Canberra who are on the verge of world domination. At the time of shooting this video they’d just wrapped up a massive tour supporting Elizabeth Rose, and had just been announced as the main support for Lorde’s now sadly postponed Australian tour.
