Slow Magic's new album is out today, and that is cause for celebration.. Today sees the release of the follow-up to 2012’s beloved and critically acclaimed ∆ album, and How To Run Away reflects uncharted growth for masked forest imaginery friend, Slow Magic. Oozing both otherworldly beauty and a mastery of production, we've already been teased with a couple of singles in Girls and Hold Still, which you can enjoy below during my brief chat with Slow Magic, for once on a tiny break out of the touring schedule, along with a video feature we filmed with him while in Australia earlier this year: Hey man how’s it going? Slow Magic marches towards the release of his new album with another killer single.. Masked creature of the forest and mysterio beatmaker Slow Magic has dropped another rad new tune from his upcoming album release. How To Run Away is out September 12 (pre-order HERE), and so far we've heard Girls and Hold Still (check both HERE). He's now dropped Waited 4 U, and after the previous two rather atmospheric numbers, this single ramps up the sexy with some scorching synth jams and coo-ing femme vocals. Tunes galore from Slow Magic, plus a lil video of him hanging out in Perth.. Slow Magic's Australian tour earlier this year was one we haven't soon forgotten. It might sound simple, but just adding a couple of toms to his live sets and having him gesticulating wildly around them for the duration was a sight to be hold - immensely engaging and procurating massive positive vibes for the set's entirety. The fact his music is a thing of joyous beauty certainly doesn't hurt, which is why we're salivating at the prospect of his new album. The mysterious forest dweller claiming to be everyone's best friend is in New Zealand on Thursday, before heading west to play a bunch of Australian shows after.
