New Music: KLO - Cusp EP
Down a dose of DIY, minimal electronic pop via the debut EP from Melbourne's KLO.. We're not surprised Melbourne cousins KLO are doing so well - from an Australian music fans' point of view, their music sits at this ideal nexus between the minimal, vocal-led indie pop coming from artists London Grammar and Jessie Ware that holds influence over us from abroad, and Melbourne's DIY, minimal electronic pop scene that we take pride in from home. BBC Radio 1 tastemaker Zane Lowe got behind their first track, Make Me Wonder (we got behind it too - read HERE) and the blog hype followed suite - leading to KLO's debut live gig a few months back at Boney selling out, and bookings at Beyond the Valley and Strawberry Fields - which is a huge vote of confidence for KLO, given all that happened prior to a release. They've now delivered the goods with EP Cusp. Singer Chloe Kaul comes from a jazz and soul background and evidently knows her way around a smoky vocal - she drip-feeds us pure lush sedation

New: Klo - Under Lie
The Melbourne cousins add more reasons to be excited about their upcoming EP.. Following impressive turns earlier this year in debut single Make Me Wonder and then False Calls, Melbourne cousins Klo have premiered their latest single Under Lies via Thump this week, and it's doing nothing to quell our excitement for the duo's debut EP Cusp to be released Friday 14 November via Dot Dash/Remote Control. It comes with beautifully chill garage vibes, and Chloe Kaul's delicate coo washing over my Monday-morning is making life much more bareable. They've got a few shows coming up in November, check the dates after taking Under Lies in below: SHOW DATES: SAT 15 NOV: Melbourne Music Week Hub, Melbourne, VIC THU 20 NOV: Laneway Presents MMW Showcase @ Kelvin Club, Melbourne VIC SAT 22 NOV: Strawberry Fields Festival @ The Wildlands, VIC SAT 22 NOV: Paradise Music Festival @ Lake Mountain Ski Resort, VIC WED 31 DEC: Beyond The Valley Music Festival @ Phillip Island, VIC

Klo - Make Me Wonder
Fresh, free new music from a duo we don't know much about.. We can't tell you much about a new duo called Klo. We couldn't even tell you where they're from. A little bit of research reveals they are cousins. So there's that. So I guess that leaves us to focus on the music, and put simply - it's beautiful. Super chilled beats and sultry, smooth vocals are at this point the only words starting with 's' that I can apply to it, but I'll think of some more. In the mean time you should just listen to it, and if you love it like we do download it for free via their FACEBOOK.
