James "Midge" Ure (; born 10 October 1953) is a Scottish musician, singer-songwriter and record producer. His stage name, Midge, is a phonetic reversal of Jim, a hypocorism of his given name. Ure enjoyed particular success in the 1970s and 1980s in bands including Slik, Thin Lizzy, Rich Kids and Visage, and as the second frontman of Ultravox. In 1984, he co-wrote and produced the charity single "Do They Know It's Christmas?", which has sold 3.7 million copies in the UK. The song is the second-highest-selling single in UK chart history. Ure co-organised Band Aid, Live Aid and Live 8 with Bob Geldof. He acts as a trustee for the charity and also serves as an ambassador for Save the Children.

"I'm looking forward to coming back to celebrate that innovative and creative period."
"A new album of original songs for the first time in ten years."
The Ultravox frontman is performing shows this April
Ure closes with a taste of what is hopefully to come: Ultravox’s enduring Dancing With Tears In My Eyes.
“In the early Ultravox days, we kind of had to invent how we performed live with the technology."
"We were a bit lost. We weren't the electronic rock band that they thought we were. We were a bit confused about what we actually were at the time."
"We used a medium that the majority of people understood. It wasn’t a million miles away from what you normally do. You hear a piece of music, you buy a record and it makes a difference to someone thousands of miles away.”
Yes, we know it's Christmas.
