Smithy's crisp
Allan Smithy smashed his BIGSOUND showcase, and we all know what they say, 'you never know who's in the crowd.'
This has proved true for Smithy who has been picked up by New World Artist's Dominic Miller, who will be taking care of his bookings in Australia and New Zealand.
Hailing from Sydney's inner city life, Smithy made track with his debut single The Streets which saw rotation on radio stations like triple j, 2SER and named FBi's 'Independant Artists Of The Week.'
Miller has described his music as, "The mould of those great Australian songwriters like Paul Kelly, The Go-Betweens and Courtney Barnett — songs that are all at once heartbreaking, uplifiting and nostalgic."
