More Dan Sultan More Dan Sultan

Acclaimed Aussie troubadour Dan Sultan is following up his acclaimed recent full-length Blackbird with the release of new solo EP Dirty Ground, and theMusic.com.au is privileged to bring you a full stream of the new work today.

Dirty Ground came to life in one whirlwind day with Way Of The Eagle's Jan Skubizewski, and features tracks co-written with national songwriting legends such as Paul Kelly (Dirty GroundOn The Leffy) and Something For Kate's Paul Dempsey (Mountaintop). Most of the tracks on the EP — which also features the Nashville-penned Man On TV — have been in Sultan's back pocket for a while, experiencing their genesis during original demo recording sessions for Blackbird, and now fans will have the chance to enjoy them in all their crystallised glory on record.

Have a listen to the stream above, then head to the Gig Guide or see The Music App for a full rundown of dates and venues where you can catch the man in action out on tour. He next plays Homeground at the Sydney Opera House on Saturday, November 22.
