Following news they've returned to the studio together for the first time in 35 years, Molly Meldrum has revealed he will campaign for ABBA to tour Australia.
The iconic Swedish outfit's upcoming avatar project will see one of their newly-recorded songs, I Still Have Faith In You, performed by their "digital selves" in an upcoming TV special by NBC and BBC, which is expected in December this year, which is then believed to be followed up by a world tour.
"I'm hoping a tour will happen," Meldrum said.
"I'll certainly be pushing them — although the first time I went to Stockholm to question ABBA, they stared at me, like, 'Does he even speak English?'"

The beloved Australian music critic added of ABBA's return, "Their timeless songs are the soundtrack to our lives.
"They are so strong in our hearts because the songs make you feel warm inside."
Group member Benny Andersson said in an interview last year that ABBA are planning to bring the hologram tour to Australia in 2019.
"Our voices will be taken from the records, or maybe some of the live vocals from the Australian tour of 1977," Andersson said.
"If you’re sitting in the arena you’ll see us up there. It's quite exciting."
