New 'James Bond' Film Release Pushed Back

The film was set to hit cinemas around the world next month.

The release of the new James Bond film has been pushed back until later this year.

As Deadline reports, though originally set to hit cinemas next month (8 April in Australia), No Time To Die will now be released globally in November.

“MGM, Universal and Bond producers, Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, announced today that after careful consideration and thorough evaluation of the global theatrical marketplace, the release of No Time To Die will be postponed until November 2020," a statement issued today.

"The film will be released in the UK on November 12, 2020 with worldwide release dates to follow, including the US launch on November 25, 2020."

Though coronavirus has had an impact on the Asian box office, Deadline say the decision is an economic one and not based on the impact of COVID-19. It is understood all parties involved, including MGM and Universal, want all foreign territories performing well at the box office prior to No Time To Die's release
