DEX Secures Management & Booking Deals, Announces New Single & Shows

Hip hop act DEX has today shared a stack of news including deals, a new single and shows, as well as a name change.

The Melbourne based artist has announced his signing to Handshake MGMT and a booking deal through 123 Agency. 

"Dexter has busily creating a vibe for himself out there in hip hop world and beyond," said 123 Agency's Jimmy Kleiner. "The music is world-class and the running theme is positivity - what's not to love?"

"Handshake couldn't be happier to add Dexter Seamus to our roster," adds Handshake MGMT's Leigh Treweek. "We're incredibly excited about the tracks he's creating and even more so about what he will achieve over the coming year!"

DEX has also shared that he'll now work under the moniker Dexter Seamus for his future work, including his upcoming single Favourite Colour, which features Bliss N Eso's Esoterik.

"Social media and streaming platforms are already flooded with artists too closely assimilated with my handle, Dexter Seamus is a unique persona that I developed and identify with, it's kind of an all new me," he shared.

Seamus will be celebrating the release of Favourite Colour with shows at Sydney's Oxford Art Factory and Melbourne's Northcote Social Club later in the year.
