“'Peach' is about feeling all over the place all the time, and then celebrating those moments when everything feels awesome.”

More Broods More Broods

New Zealand duo Broods have perfected the art of indie pop with their latest single, Peach, promising big things from their next record.

Dropping today via Island Records Australia, the tune has been described as a “kaleidoscopic sonic palette” and, through its choir-like harmonies, woozy rhythms and intricate piano, cuts to the core of what being an artist is really about.

“As artists, you feel things at a much more extreme level than people who probably don’t spend most of their time inside their own heads,” Broods said.

Acclaimed music producer Tommy English (BØRNS, Kacey Musgraves, K. Flay) was enlisted as a co-writer, with the trio piecing the song together in Nashville.

Peach is the lead single from Broods’ highly anticipated third LP, expected for release early next year.
