Tim Minchin, Ben Folds, Isabella Manfredi & More To Play ABC's NYE Concert

ABC will ring in the new year with a nationally-broadcast concert featuring some of Australia's biggest names in music. 

Hosted by Charlie Pickering and Zan Rowe at the Sydney Opera House, performers on the night include Tim Minchin, Ben Folds, Isabella Manfredi (The Preatures), Kaiit, Baker Boy, Client Liaison, Daryl Brathwaite, G Flip, Ross Wilson, Christine Anu and Casey Donovan.

As well as performing their own tracks, the artists will also play covers from a party playlist voted by the Australian public. 

The ABC New Years Eve... The Night Is Yours coverage will kick off from 9.30pm, straight after The Early Night Show which starts at 8.30pm, hosted by Rove McManus.

The announcement follows last year's NYE coverage on ABC, which included a Countdown special.

The concert, which included sets from Jimmy Barnes, Phil Jamieson and Stella Donnelly to name a few, was widely praised and drew an average of 707,000 viewers on the night.
