Bluesfest 2019 welcomes the "Godfather of Punk”, Iggy Pop, nine-time Grammy Award-winner Norah Jones and more as part of its third line-up announcement.
The festival’s 30th-anniversary celebration – set to go down at Tyagarah Tea Tree Farm from April 18 – 22 – is well and truly taking shape, with the 14 artists on the latest announcement bringing the total to nearly 60, with organisers promising “plenty more to come”.
Iggy Pop delivered a festival highlight in the Bluesfest marquee in 2013, while Jones will her make her debut at the festival next year, bringing her latest LP, Day Breaks, along for the ride.
Meanwhile, Denver R&B/blues outfit Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats return to the festival, dishing up their infectious soul through new singles from Tearing At the Seams and fan favourites.

“You can now start to see the great headliners and depth of talent that are joining us to celebrate our 30th Anniversary,” Bluesfest’s Peter Noble said.
The aforementioned talent will join previously confirmed artists Jack Johnson, Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals, Paul Kelly, Julia Stone, George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, Mavis Staples, Kasey Chambers and so many more.
It's a big week for Bluesfest, with the festival tomorrow night being officially acknowledged as a Hall of Fame recipient at the 2018 NSW Tourism Awards.
