More You Am I More You Am I

The Australian music industry continues to rally behind beloved music industry figure and ex-You Am I manager Kate Stewart, with a handful of legendary local acts donating memorabilia to two auctions that will be held around a benefit gig this month.

The Concert For Kate benefit show is taking place next Friday, March 15, at Enmore Theatre with performances from Sally Seltmann, Crow, Smudge, Bernard Fanning, Phil Jamieson, Paul Dempsey and You Am I, who are supporting Stewart after she suffered a severe stroke last September.

Organisers have now confirmed that two auctions will run in conjunction with the event, one taking place via eBay and another live on stage on the night.

You Am I have donated ARIA Gold and Platinum records, while the likes of Powderfinger, Grinspoon, Tony Mott, Tim Rogers, Midnight Oil, Silverchair and Cold Chisel have also contributed, with items from Stewart’s own personal collection also on offer.

All proceeds from the auctions will go to the Kate Stewart Appeal, which you can contribute to here.
