"It's with a heavy heart that I'm leaving Double J Lunch," Warhurst said in a statement.

"It was such an honour to be part of Double J right from the very beginning, with the bonus of being able to share some of the most lovingly and intelligently curated music you’ll hear anywhere in the world.

"Along the way I got to work with an extraordinary team whose vision made the station what it is, who quickly became my new musical family. So, like an old Aunty, I guarantee I’ll be back to annoy everyone at future family functions."
