Triple J has today confirmed its 2018 line-up, with some serious shake-ups in the mix.

The youth broadcaster has delivered some massive news in today's announce, confirming that Home & Hosed host Dom Alessio will move on after eight great years.

Alessio will be taking up a new position next year to be announced next week.

"It’s been an honour to come to work every day, listen to incredible music, curate the very best of it and present it to the nation," Alessio said.

"That includes being an early champion of artists like Flume, Meg Mac, Camp Cope, Alex Lahey, Courtney Barnett, Sampa The Great, Remi, Tired Lion and Julia Jacklin who often had their first spins on my show.

"In over 1,400 radio shows I’ve strived to be diverse, inclusive and representative of the breadth of music from all over Australia. It’s been incredible in that time to see Australian music grow to be more popular than ever and if I’ve had even a minuscule role in making that happen, I’m really proud of that."

Meanwhile, following news this week that Zan Rowe will be moving to Double J in 2018Good Nights host Linda Marigliano will take over the mornings slot next year, while Bridget Hustwaite will move into the Good Nights slot.

"It's been such a blast presenting new music in the evenings, getting those hot jams out there and winding those windows down," Marigliano said.

"I feel so privileged to have had the opportunity to create this Good Nights beast six years ago, and oh boy it's been a party every night.

"But I love to shake things up, and I am honoured to follow on from my dear friend and legend Zan Rowe, bringing my true music nerd to triple j Mornings."

Breakfast duo Ben & Liam are confirmed to return in 2018, while Gen Fricker will stay on as drive co-host alongside Lewis Hobba until Veronica Milsom returns from maternity leave later in the year.

Triple J also welcomes the return of ex-breakfast host Alex Dyson who will take over the lunch slot until Fricker steps down from the drive duties.
