Boasting an event bigger than last year
It's time to break out the footy shorts, the Reclink Community Cup is setting up shack in Adelaide once again this year.
Returning to Coopers Stadium (Norwood Oval) on Aug 7, the match will pit some of SA's best musicians and media personalities against each other in a friendly brawl to determine whoever is the least un-athletic.
After the success of its inaugural launch Adelaide last year, the event will come back bigger and better, all the while working to raise national awareness and funds for Australia's most disadvantaged.
Reclink Community Cup 2016 promises to be a big old fashioned mixing bowl of community spirit, bevs and laughs with plenty of live entertainment, in a similar fashion to last year which saw involvement from SA native superstars such as Bad//Dreems and The Beards, and appearances from AFL's Graham Cornes and radio personalities Kat Lynch and Amos Gill.

The Community Cup made a splash in Melbourne last weekend, with the muso team Rockdogs scoring their fourth win since 2009. Rivalling its East Coast counterparts, Adelaide's leg will bring the spirit of local community radio stations Three D Radio, Fresh 927 and Radio Adelaide.
The game will kick off from 12pm, with player and band details to be announced soon. The Adelaide Reclink Community Cup team are currently looking for volunteers to help out on the day, and you can sign up here.
