The support is overwhelming.
A memorial fund has been established for Eagles Of Death Metal merchandise seller Nick Alexander who was tragically killed in the Paris shootings over the weekend.
Alexander was one of 87 people who were tragically gunned down at the Bataclan hall, as were three staff from the band's label, Mercury Records.
According to the Gofundme campaign, Miguel Benavides launched the campaign with a goal of $25,000 — the fund has already received over $80,000 in donations.
"My initial goal for this find was to benefit my friend in the most direct way that was calling to me. I personally want to help his family," Benavides writes on the campaign page.

"Two things happened: we reached a significant amount quickly, and our extended tour family pointed out a basic rule of the road: we take care of our own, even the ones we don’t personally know. Taking this to heart, we are converting this fund to taking care of more than just Nick."
All donations will go directly to Alexander's family. To make a donation, check out the campaign page here.
Meanwhile, the Bataclan hall has issued its first statement since the attacks.
EODM have unsurprisingly cancelled the remaining dates of their European tour, while more acts continue to pull out of shows in Paris which now include U2, Motorhead, Marilyn Manson and Deftones.
