Things get sensual in the desert

More Daniel Johns More Daniel Johns

The Daniel Johns comeback trail continues today with the unveiling of the video for his first new material in eight years, Aerial Love.

The subdued and soulful single, a far cry from his adored work in local grunge legends Silverchair, has been complemented with a slick, sensual video, taking place on the Stockton Dunes near Newcastle. The clip features Johns walking through the desert, some incredible landscape shots and scenes of young lovers getting a little hot and heavy, with a couple of those scenes ever so slightly on the NSFW side of the spectrum.

The video was directed by Lorin Askill, who was one of the editors for Sia's epic Chandelier clip. Askill has also worked with Flume, Chet Faker and Phoenix. Watch it now:

Aerial Love, currently sitting at 50 in ARIA Singles Chart, dropped late last month, with an EP of the same name out in March via EMI.
