A great little festival that offers something for every level of music lover.

Sheffield indie-pop outfit, Reverend & The Makers, return with their fourth album, ThirtyTwo, celebrating the age of lead singer John McClure (aka The Reverend) and all they love about everyday British life, from relationships to pill popping.

It would have been great to hear some of the older, psychedelic instrumental tracks, like Blown from the second album, but overall, an inspiring and fun performance.

A great set and proof that electronic music comes into its own as a live performance.

A solid performance and maximum respect for pulling off so many slow songs on a bustling Saturday night in Sydney.

It’s what Booka Shade fans will have been waiting for.

A short interlude and a sweaty, screaming crowd welcomed back the band for an interesting encore cover of Paramore’s Now, which melded seamlessly into Bob Marley’s Sun Is – no mean feat!

It’s an album of two halves and one that is sure to divide their fans and critics.
