Twistie Chaney

Twistie Chaney is a writer and music industry professional with key interests in Gen Z music consumption and connection, queer and gender diverse storytelling, and explorations of identity through music.

Their first musical love came from the world of classical music - their first concert not being a super cool rock show at age 14 but in fact, the QSO’s rendition of Stravinsky’s The Firebird at the Empire Theatre, Toowoomba - and have since fallen more and more in love with music every day since, adoring punk to pop to country and all the colours in-between.

Besides music taking up about 90% of their personality and conversational topics with friends, they also are passionate about all realms of The Arts, keeping their inner-west vege garden alive and embarking on every flavour of Hismile toothpaste.
