NLV Presents: International Edition
Foreigner bangers with Nina, Eclair Fifi, Sam Tiba, UNiiQU3 and Swick.. Following on from a sell-out run of club gigs earlier in the year featuring some of Australia's brightest up-and-coming producer/DJs, Nina Las Vegas has announced the next NLV Presents tour, featuring a cast of international DJs - some of the most diverse/fresh talents from around the globe: "I wanted the chance to bring you some artists that you may already know and respect, as well as some artists that you should know and will get to see first in Australia on this tour.” We had the opportunity to interview Nina earlier this year when she played at CIRCO Festival, and following her recent holiday/research trip overseas, she was PRETTY EXCITED about using the NLV brand to push new and exciting sounds from overseas into the usually very tight Australian market. And true to her word, NLV Presents: International Edition is a fresh/exciting set of acts featuring some artists you mightn't know, but we guarantee will get

Wafia - Let Me Love You
With the quality of people involved, it's no surprise this is a gorgeous tune.. We first came across Brisbane artist Wafia when she guest vocalled on recent Triple J Unearthed winner and perennial Pilerats fave Japanese Wallpaper's 2013 single Breathe In (listen HERE). We've been waiting with bated breath for whatever comes next, and today we are incredibly happy to report she has not disappointed. With plans to release her second EP in the near future, we get our first taste in the form of this slinky cover of Mario's huge 2004 tune Let Me Love You. Produced by Future Classic's new blood Thrupence (listen to Don't You Mind HERE), and mastered by producer-to-the-stars Andrei Eremin (Chet Faker, Oscar Key Sung), it's quite simply - a fucking jam. Stream it below, and have a great day. Follow Wafia: FACEBOOK // SOUNDCLOUD

Mrs Mac's Presents - A Creative Journey: Part 3
On the roll with Andrew Fallara.. Andrew Fallara is a young Perth skateboarder known for his cruisy attitude, faultless style and effortless ability. Having grown up in a household where his old man surfed and there were regular roadtrips to the beach, Andrew transferred what he saw in the ocean onto the streets of Perth. This eventually led him to link up with Perth skateboarding royalty like Barry Mansfield, Luke Carl Thompson and a host of others. Be sure to keep an eye out for some new footage of him dropping later in the year. Andrew embodies the perfect roadtripper - not only is he rather mellow, his go with the flow character and keenness for adventure make every situation fun. The guy doesn’t drive so it’s an arguable point that he has hit the most roadtrips out of any of us on that skateboard of his. In saying that he even managed to light up a few skate parks in the short amount of time available on our trip, and worked tirelessly with Shadow Data and DYP to bring this projec

Review: Willow Beats @ Northcote Social Club
Their final show sold out, and was by all accounts a good'un.. Header Photo: Willow Beats @ Mondo, Perth by Aaron Webber Starting a night of quality Melbourne-based electronica acts, hypnotic trio Yujen graced the stage full of down-tempo melodies and even a sample from Nick Murphy (Chet Faker), the ambient openers ripping through a set that included the impressive single Try It Over. Vocalist Sam Tilley revealing “we showed [Chet Faker] the song and he was searching for someone to sing on it, before just deciding on doing it himself”. With stellar support from brothers Will and Mitch Anderson this is a group to keep an eye on. Alta brought many things to their set; and while an inflatable goon bag was not one of them, somehow a shiny silver bag was still escorted through the crowd as the duo started what was to be a vibrant set. Shifting from mellow vibes to a more charged atmosphere was made possible by frontwoman Hannah Lesser’s ability to showcase a feisty persona and engage the c
