Panama's dreamy new single can be yours for free.. Stay Forever is the new tour single from Aussie indie-pop outfit and Future Classic kids Panama, and it's been on repeat since we first heard it a couple of days back. It comes from the band whilst they traverse the globe, playing festivals and shows around Europe following their debut North American tour. With the quality of people involved, it's no surprise this is a gorgeous tune.. We first came across Brisbane artist Wafia when she guest vocalled on recent Triple J Unearthed winner and perennial Pilerats fave Japanese Wallpaper's 2013 single Breathe In (listen HERE). We've been waiting with bated breath for whatever comes next, and today we are incredibly happy to report she has not disappointed. With plans to release her second EP in the near future, we get our first taste in the form of this slinky cover of Mario's huge 2004 tune Let Me Love You. Produced by Future Classic's new blood Thrupence (listen to Don't You Mind HERE), and mastered by producer-to-the-stars Andrei Eremin (Chet Faker, Oscar Key Sung), it's quite simply - a fucking jam. New single, a debut LP and an Aus' tour for our fave sea-farers.. New Navy continue kicking 2014 square in the nuts. Following the release of their much-loved single Heaven, New Navy have released the next single, Rosaline - the first official release from their forthcoming debut LP. Rosaline is a twisted take on the love song, featuring their typically silky smooth vocals, tropical vibes and disco guitars, and marks another step forward for the Sydney three-piece. Perth rockers The Love Junkies bring a hearty DIY feel.. Melbourne's Bored Nothing's second album releases its first single - Ice-Cream Dreams.. Melbourne artist Bored Nothing has announced details for his second album, Some Songs, due October 24 here via Spunk Records, with the first single from it - Ice-Cream Dreams. Following an album full of collected works, Some Songs was very much written with one eye on the album format, and continues the '90s-homaging, lo-fi slacker-pop sweetness that made his debut such a popular release. Melbourne quartet The Harpoons new single gets moody yet colourful clip.. From the moment I heard Melbourne outfit The Harpoons' first single Unforgettable I was hooked. That silky smooth R&B slow-jam had more groove than you can poke a stoke, and the follow-up single Can We Work It Out slows things down even more. It's simple, beautiful restrained stuff, and that song now has an equally sparse video clip, that clearly tells the tale of a struggling relationship. Two for two from these guys from me, and I look ever-forward to the release of their upcoming LP, Falling For You, due September 26 via Remote Control/Two Bright Lakes. A new series curated by artists Sean Morris and Tom Groves.. The first venture from new Australian arts project Black Canyon opens in Melbourne Friday 29 August, and Welcome To Black Canyon will feature large-scale print work by artists from Spain, France, England, Canada, Germany and the USA (many who've never shown in Australia before) alongside a heap of local favourites. Launching on the night will be the limited run risograph publication 'Black Canyon Vision Quest 1', a collection of bold, aggressive illustration and design, and Black Canyon’s statement of intent. No frills, no filler, just 16 young artists making uncompromising work. As Odesza's new album approaches, here's another new single.. Three weeks away from the release of Odesza's new album In Return (check all the details HERE), the Seattle duo have released another new track in Say My Name feat. British vocalist Zyra. One of the year's most anticipated albums gets another single.. A couple of months ago Caribou dropped the first taste from his upcoming album release in Can't Do Without You, which was met with super excitement - one friend said it sounded like Caribou by way of David Guetta, and that he really loved it. I'm not sure what kind of praise that is, but he's one of the biggest Caribou fans that I know, so let's go with positive. Well he's now dropped the title track - Our Love - and it's another indication of where Dan Snaith is heading in 2014 - rave town. Caribou's sound has always had elements of house and techno, but it was always fairly restrained. Our Love feels like he's really going for it, and goddamn I'm fucking excited. That drop is anything.
