The video was done with Melbourne filmmaker Matthew Chuang, and shot in the abandoned city of Pripyat in Ukraine, and traces a fictional former inhabitant’s movements through empty homes and schools deserted in 1986. Montgomery - Piñata
I OH YOU's new bae drops the first official single from her New Clear War EP.. Following the introduction of DMA's earlier this year, I OH YOU have pretty quickly proven a knack for unearthing talent you may not know yet, but will quickly fall in love with. Such is the case for their latest signing, Montgomery, when they announced the young artist with the single War Cry (listen HERE) a couple of weeks back. We were instantly crushing hard, and the vibe only gets stronger after listening to the first official single from her upcoming New Clear War EP - Piñata. Same as War Cry, the track was co-produced by Montgomery and Tom Scary (Tom Iansek of Big Scary fame), and again carries a similar melancholic vibe, with rolling drums and Montgomery's ethereal vocals plucking at the heartstrings. It's a beautiful sound, and we can't wait for New Clear War to come out - October 24 via I OH YOU. Follow Montgomery: FACEBOOK // WEBSITE

Wookie - The Hype feat. Eliza Doolittle (Young Franco Remix) *Premiere*
Another week, another sweet Young Franco remix premiere.. As you might have guessed, we bloody love that Young Franco kid. Whether it's his latest Close 2 U EP feat. JOY. (HERE); the awesome remix package it came with (HERE); his recent remix for Luke Million (HERE); or his dashing good looks, dude's a champion. Which is why whenever a premiere opportunity comes our way for a new piece of his work, we enthusiastically accept. You may have already heard Motez's remix of Wookie's new single The Hype feat. Eliza Doolittle (HERE), and now Young Franco joins the remix package which will also include another Pilerats face cln, plus ISLND, Set Mo and Sweetland on an all-Aussie affair called The Hype 2.0. Friday Freebie: Howl - Sports Challenge
A young Melbourne producer who makes tunes close to our heart.. Following a premiere via Run The Trap earlier this week, it's time for people who read our site to get around Melbourne's Howl. We don't know a whole lot about him, other than he's quite young, and his production skills are so tight-butthole it hurts. He's only got a few tunes up on the Soundcloud thus far, but his latest - Sports Challenge - is the real deal. Very much in the Sable/Wave Racer/Basenji mould, Sports Challenge features one of the toughest kick-snare combos we've heard in a while, but it's the diversity within the track itself that makes it an essential Friday Freebie. We hear murmurs of some Australian tour action, so keep your eyes peeled, and until then enjoy this and get ready for the freakin' weekend. Follow Howl: FACEBOOK // SOUNDCLOUD

10/10 Would Listen: Cloudwaves
10 September selections from RTRFM's wavey hip hop/rap show - Cloudwaves.. Cloudwaves is a radio show making the late night a great night on RTRFM. On a Friday morning from 12am - 2am, the Wavvy gang - Sleepyhead, Aslan, Dani M, Dan Dalton and Jai Chouhan - select tunes you can get wild and wavy to in your crib, car or club, showcasing a supa-fresh mix of turn up raps, sexy, futuristic R&B, chill low-lying raps, and experimental club tracks. Show Coordinator Dani M rounds up her faves from the last month. Partynextdoor feat. Drake – Recognise “I want you, to turn up on me / Every night when I see you.” This burner from OVO-affiliate (that’s Drake’s label)’s Partynextdoor has been at the top of my “tunes to tune to” playlist for a minute now. Proper bedroom jam, in which PND is just hanging out for women who will turn up on him every night. Some nice bars from Drake, too. I was very down with Partynextdoor’s track Persian Rugs but this has taken over as my new Partynextdoor favourite,
