The Dust Settles
"You know, I think people can tell when you’re being honest. Curiouser was a much more layered, playful pop record, by comparison."

The Long Haul
"We have been touring non-stop around the world since last summer and we feel great now... We hope we can continue even when we are 80 years old."

Album Review: These New Puritans - Field Of Reeds
These New Puritans have made something original, daring and deeply expressive, and suffice to say, you really need to listen to it.

Album Review: Shapeshifter - Delta
Delta’s experimentation would be irrelevant if the band had delivered sufficiently crafted songs. Unfortunately, everything feels half-complete and slapped together.

Islander
"All my other albums had multiple producers. This record was the first time I’ve worked with one producer from start to finish."

Jazz Hands
"I didn’t take it particularly seriously when we first started. What really made it fantastic was that some of Jess [Guille – vocals]’s songs were so great."

Live Review: Kate Miller-Heidke, Brendan Maclean
You never really get to hear Miller-Heidke’s incredible voice sit within the St John’s Cathedral acoustics. It’s either loud to the point of almost distorting or hidden beneath artificial delays. Which is disappointing.

Blindscape
In spite of the suggestions of the premise, Blindscape’s audiences aren’t really free to navigate very far either within the realms of their soundscape or the venue and the strictures grow boring. It’s hard not to be excited by the potential of the concept, though.

Third Time's A Charm
"Some of the tunes have definitely been in the works for about that long. We kept the approach pretty fresh, though."

Album Review: Fall Out Boy - Save Rock And Roll
For the most part, Save Rock And Roll is a bold and audacious step forward for a great pop outfit.

Weekend Warriors
"It could have gone further. It didn’t. Fortunately, it will. It’s still alive today, fortunately. We’re carrying on."
