Honestly when two people get together and make something amazing, everything just becomes a wonderful rainbow of bliss. BIG SCARY are one blissful duo that just make everything seem so much lighter.
With the release of their new album Not Art, the pair are back on the radar and are ready to turn your frown upside down with their wonderful melodies. Tom Insek's vocals just float through each track like a feather in the wind, and the haunting beats Joanna Syme thrashes on that drum kit just creates beautiful collection of tracks that luckily we can hear on Not Art.
The duo are about to venture out into the big wide country of ours for a national tour to celebrate the release of Not Art. Melbourne songstress Courtney Barnett will be joining BIG SCARY on their tour that kicks off in late August and pours over into early September.
The live show that the band will produce will not doubt be chilling, but lovely enough to keep you wanting more. You will always want more! The dates are below for those who haven't seen them already, so you can check out when BIG SCARY are appearing in your town:

WIN WIN WIN
Yep, you read right! We did say win because BIG SCARY and PURPLE SNEAKERS are giving away double passes to every show on their Not Art tour. The only town that is the exception is Brisbane, unfortunately BIG SCARY will be playing in Brisbane as part of The Brisbane Festival, so the ticketing is out of our hot little hands. But for those who want to win a double pass to any of the other shows on the Not Art tour, just comment your name, email and city below and the winners will have their names on the door of the show of their choosing!
Good luck you crazy cats!
