When and why did the store open?
I have been an avid collector for most of my life and my dream was to always one day open a record shop.

What do your customers most know you for?
My customers know my shop as having a large selection of records, ( over 7,000) and my stock is always in excellent condition.

What is the most popular title you stock at the moment?
Most poplar titles have varied over the years but at the moment I would say Fleetwood Mac Rumours and Dire Straits Brothers in Arms. Also Neil Young, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd.

What is the best thing about running a record store in 2025? 
The best thing about running my own record shop is I can engage in my favourite pass time all day long while earning a living. We have some amazing cusomers, some have been coming since we opened nearly 30 years ago. I love sourcing stock. I’ve met some really interesting people over the years when they come to sell their collections. I started my shop in 1996 and have moved shop 4 times. I have been in the shop at Nambour for 10 years now. It’s exciting to see the resurgence of vinyl.
