After a 2019 that saw him land support slots for the likes of Bombino, Santana and The Doobie Brothers and sharing the stage with Maxi Priest and Common Kings, 2020 sees Leni releasing his debut single, Magnetic, which we're premiering here at The Music ahead of its official release this Friday.
Known as the frontman for Adelaide's Local Revolution, in solo mode Leni is a mix of soul, R&B and funk and he cites artists such as Frank Ocean, Daft Punk, The Weeknd, Stevie Wonder, Bruno Mars, Paul Simon and Santana as influences.
"I feel so excited to finally share this song with the world. It's special to me in so many ways," Leni says.
"For me it's all about love - the way it pulls you in, finds you unexpectedly and takes you somewhere else. Whether it's from another galaxy, on the dance floor or where ever you are - love will find you. For you it might tell a different story, but that's the beauty of music.
"All I want to do is share love, good vibes and more love. We all know the world needs it right now! That's always been very important to me in my music. Not superficial love. I'm talking about REAL LOVE for each other, the earth, the animals, the universe. That's what its all about. In the end nothing else really matters. That and dancing..."
