On this week's edition of It Came From The Cloud - a segment where we showcase the talents of an up and coming Soundcloud producer - we're focusing on the sleek remixing skills of Zikomo.

A young beatsmith hailing from California, Zikomo has been making waves lately with his luscious sounds and funk house beats. Gaining notoriety from his imaginative flips and remixes, the producer has been creating memorable dancefloor burners lately such as his disco-tinged re-rub of Childish Gambino's 'Terrified'. With comments ranging from 'you cant find a way to not like this song' to 'bra this beat is so sick i think it dying' it's easy to see why these cuts have taken off within the SC community.

Fast forward a few months (and a few fresh remixes) later and Zikomo is back again. This time he's turned his attention towards SZA's floating tune 'The Weekend'.

Taking ownership over SZA's silky vocals, Zikomo cuts and chops with precision accuracy to create rhythms that breathe within loose house kicks and percussion - a style that is owed to the producer's sleek workflow and knowledge of the MPC3000.

The outcome is a fresh and fun take on a soulful slice of R&B. You be the judge.
