"A strong, deep, atmospheric independent release."
The spectre of '80s synth-pop hangs over many modern electro-pop rock outfits, and Melbourne-based Zen Robotic are no exception to the rule.
Listening to this lengthy album we cannot help but return to a time when Eurythmics, The Human League and Pet Shop Boys were among the bigger bands on the planet. And Zen Robotic do it rather well, putting their own, slightly darker modern twist on it. They've hit upon some more meaningful topics in their lyrics too, in a personal and broader sense.
This is a strong, deep, atmospheric independent release.
