Live Review: Yuksek - Always On The Run (Peter & The Magician Remix)

It feels like I’ve been hanging out for this Peter & The Magician remix of Yuksek’s punchy key & synth disco jam ‘Always On The Run’ forever.

Although it features the classic Magician sound I’ve fallen in love with since he split with Aeroplane, I really was hoping for something a bit more vocal similar to his solo remix of Yukesk’s last single ‘On A Train’ or Lykke Li’s ‘I Follow Rivers’. The new one has several fabulous hooks just that don’t get taken advantage of in this adaptation.

Don’t get me wrong I still love it, have a listen to the 15 ‘Magic Tapes’ he’s spent the last year putting out below.
