Far from the typical Aussie rock sound you once heard from Darren Cordeux, the Kisschasy frontman redefines his songwriting with his new project, White Caves. The five-track EP introduces dream-like tunes with a psychedelic side and an air of mystery, completed with catchy pop hooks that draw you in. Each track contains hauntingly beautiful lyrics carefully crafted to take you on a journey. Tide and Bruise are both over six minutes long which initially may seem a bit much but with such whimsical depth, enhanced by the evidently clean production, they leave you wanting more.
