Local Sydney boys and purveyors of future tech house WORDLIFE have released a video for the track 'SMALL TALK' from their Breakthrough EP out on Modular imprint Club Mod.
The video pieces together trippy animated patterns and characters whilst superimposing them onto what seems to be old black and white silent movie material circa 1930s. The outcome of which proves to be a experimental take on old vs. new in forms of imagery and animation.
The track itself is a groovy house jam filled with pulsing bass stabs intertwined with silky vocals and spacey synths - a slick tune that fits in well with the vibe of Club Mod.
