WOODES released her track, 'Rise', quite recently and we all instantly fell in love with it. It's no secret that the producer knows how to craft an epically elegant track, and it seems that now stands for her videos as well. Releasing the accompanying visuals for 'Rise', Woodes has shared an equally epically elegant clip as well.
Music clips tend to transport us into a whole other world, and every time Woodes releases a track, we seem to be taken to magical places that would probably have pixies hiding under every leaf. This time around, we are shown the NSW Blue Mountains where she embodies the perfect forest vixen.
When she is writing, Woodes visualises the song as it comes together. For 'Rise', she says she saw "fire… cliffs… and smoke…. The character that formed in my head was strong and she incorporated a range of elements in her design." She brings the character to life in the clip and guides an adorable mini-Woodes across the landscape.
You'll never meet a more theatrical artist than Woodes who seems to always impress us with her amazing visual concepts. She is a storyteller and is one of the very best we have here in Australia.
