Melding together sound and vision seamlessly, with finesse and a razor sharp wit EGO's latest video mixtape is everything remix culture should be aspires to.

Visually, it samples an eclectic range of images that will tickle any cinephiles fancy. The video has a particular penchant for Asian cinema, cartoons, psychedelic iconography and a car chase/crash sequences that is presented with more love for action films than anything else you are likely to see.

Running throughout all the images a clear link is the real artful play with color and textures, often layering and saturating colours to some serious acidic effects. This gives a little creepy edge to the video, which is aided by an old black and white clip, and a section that plays with a few Donnie Darko clips that almost manage to out creep the film.

While visually the video is a pretty spectacular it is completely reliant on sounds that are remixed alongside it, and here it's clear Ego have a pretty stellar collection of tunes. Featuring Santigold's 'Freak Like Me', Toddla T's remix of Duck Sauce's 'Big Bad Wolf' and a boatload of SBTRKT.

Ego have released two versions of the mix, one a video the other just an MP3, as you can probably guess I would most definitely suggested the video so check it out below.
