For Crosstown Rebels Rebel Rave episode #13, aptly named 'Dinosaurs and Flamingos', film Maker David Terranova joined Totally Enormous Extinct DInosaurs for the final leg of his US tour.
Got a spare 10 minutes 50 seconds today? Are you a fan of Orlando Higginbottom? Or do you know him as his moniker, TOTALLY ENORMOUS EXTINCT DINOSAURS? Well, we've found a little something special to help you through another long day at work (or at home - we don't judge).
To begin, let's set the scene. For Crosstown Rebels Rebel Rave episode #13, aptly named 'Dinosaurs and Flamingos', film Maker David Terranova joined Orlando for the final leg of his US tour for a live show at New York's Governors Ball Festival and following afterparty DJ Set at the famous Webster Hall.

Beginning in New York City on June 7, you meet TEED as he deals with the "most rain NYC has ever had in one day". They hadn't anticipated a tropical storm, but Orlando wasn't going to let a little wet weather spoil the fun. His dry humour and playful nature allowed for some magical moments, in the midst of some bleak signs surrounding the last few shows of a huge North American Tour.
The video itself also acts as a seriously cool promotional tool for Crosstown's infamous Get Lost mix CD series, which of course features the crossover dance act and old friend of the label - TEED. As the video has a couple of the CD's tracks soundtracking the events, and with some impressive editing skills, makes it seem like Orlando is moving to those tracks instead of his own live creations.
It is a story that prevails against all odds - filled with hilarious anecdotes and intriguing interviews. And once again, Crosstown and Terranova have succeeded in creating a weird and wonderful film to show the true creative force of the label and it's Artists.
Get Lost VI delves into the more obscure and rare influences from the British producer. Full of rarities and cutting edge house and techno carefully chosen and collated by TEED, the mix is the perfect soundtrack for electro lovers world wide. AND will also include a new exclusive track made by him together with Eats Everything that will be released as a single on the label - which you can now stream below.
