Rising Melbourne emcee POPPY ROSE released arguably her best single yet earlier this year. Titled 'Lost', it's an intimate and vulnerable snapshot into an artist grappling with her past and trying to get out the other side. Now, she's returned with some equally beautiful visuals, further bringing home her message.

Teaming up with Melbourne-based production team We Made That, lead by Bryce Padovan, who’s previously worked on The Jezabels’ video for 'The Others', Rose says the video is a reminder that no matter how many times life can bring you down. “I can see myself and hear my words give me strength and know that, yes, I have struggled once before, but I got through it and I was okay," she said. "I find so much peace knowing that doing this for myself could also inspire someone to want to become a better version of themselves or just to keep going when you feel like there is nowhere else to go.’’

Rose went onto explain, "The video for ‘Lost’ is deliberately straightforward...because sometimes things don’t have to be complicated for you to understand the beauty and strength in simplicity. Without trying to sound selfish, this one was for me – for all the times I struggled and felt exhausted from life’s bearings and complications, for all the times I felt like giving up, for every moment that broke me.”

This clip comes hot on the heels of the news that she'll be supporting legendary Aussie hip-hop artist, 360, on his national tour. Clearly showing no signs of slowing down, Poppy Rose continues to be an artist worth watching - we can't wait to see what she does next!
