Following the release of her self-titled debut EP in October last year, LUEN has shared the hallucinatory video clip for the first track off her EP titled 'Obsessed With Cars'.
The Sydney-based artist has been entrenched in the Australian dance music community for close to a decade and her taste for contemporary techno has transformed and shifted in style to reflect her deep love for dance music. With the dance-floor in mind, 'Obsessed With Cars' moves further into the realms of fast-paced, punchy techno music and is completely unapologetic as it cuts straight through her own re-worked vocals.
Filmed and edited by Luen herself, the clip emulates the brighter side of driving techno, featuring stunning scenes of flowers, blue skies and flashes of dancing bodies that give illusions to something that is other-worldly and almost alien-like.

The Luen EP is her first strike into the world of solo production that was crafted nearly entirely in her bedroom. Featuring eccentric samples and stripped back music-making production, the EP, like her live sets, takes a wider approach to house, acid and techno. It's this that makes Luen one of those creatives that's a force to be reckoned with.
