Live Review: Kasper Bjørke 'Sylvia' ft. CTM (Official Video)

Danish producer Kasper Bjørke releases this minimalistic video for 'Sylvia', the second single taken from his upcoming fourth solo album.

Danish producer-extroadinnaire KASPER BJØRKE has released this contemporary dance driven video for his track, 'Sylvia', which features the vocals of Caecilie Trier (otherwise known as CTM). Following his previous single 'Rush', 'Sylvia' is the second track taken from Bjørke's fourth solo album, set to drop later in the year.

Bjørke's discography is one rich of various projects, as one half of now defunct house duo FILUR and also as a solo artist. Despite being known for his production work and  as one behind the decks, he also manages REPTILE YOUTH and TRENTEMOLLER  - talk about versatility and keeping a well-busy schedule.

We may've grown accustom to Scandinavian music often veering towards the dulcet or the electro-pop tones, but there's something always a bit more gutsy when it comes to Bjørke's work.

'Sylvia' is a track brimming with ambient synths, fleeting '80s underlying vibes and mechanical percussive hits. The vocal samples add a both organic touch and yet still prove to be a tad haunting; 'Sylvia' feels like on the verge of being something quite sinister, depending on how you want to take that liturgical choreography. Though it may be unsettling and odd in track and visuals, it's nothing short of what to expect from Kasper Bjørke.
