Not too long ago, we had a chat with I'LLS keyboardist, Hamish Mitchell, about the outfit's latest release, Can I Go With You To Go Back To Your Country. Touching on the EPs story, we also discussed the progression of I'lls' live show, in how this new material was to translate to their audience both sonically and thematically.

Peering over metre upon metres of material has us spying on the harmonious three piece. A small crate supports a banquet of equipment, fondled by the hands of the musicians to recreate the magic of their third EPs leading single, 'Let Me Have Just One'.
A complex looking entity, the boys handle the makeshift performance space with care, whilst providing undeniable passion to their practice. Locating the intrinsic composition, they further showcase the creativity of the track, and manage to do so with an effortless demeanour and a great sense of unison.
A very comfortable and unique watch, you can surely see the joy in catching these guys live, and will probably even acquire tickets to their forthcoming shows by the end of this article.
'Let Me Have Just One' can be found on I'lls' third EP, Can I Go With You To Go Back To My Country, available now via Solitaire Records. Be sure to catch it live in the coming weeks, as I'lls will be performing at Sydney's Brighton Up Bar on Friday, 11th September, before playing the Northcote Social Club in their hometown of Melbourne the following evening.
