Brisbane’s EMMA LOUISE has a majestic voice that defies her youthful age - I still can’t believe she is only 20!
Her hushed vocal tones have the presence of Florence and the Machine and the delicacy of Bat For Lashes, and are on display with her latest single ‘Boy.'
The song finds Louise in a relationship going south as she croons “all you do is sit around, spending time, smoking cigarettes,” with the clip portraying a young lad lazily wasting his day watching television and (surprisingly) smoking cigarettes, intercut with shots of an innocent and stunning looking Louise singing. It’s a song you can’t help but fall in love with.
To coincide with the video's release, Louise is hitting the road on the Sparks Tour, playing 7 dates along the east coast with support from Argentina and Jordan Ireland (The Middle East). Tickets on sale now.
