Die Antwoord have released the outrageous music clip for their current single 'Cookie Thumper'
We all know South African crew DIE ANTWOORD are never ones to hold back. If you have seen their last film clip 'Fatty Boom Boom', that publicly targeted LADY GAGA and various other popular artists, you'll remember the protagonist giving birth to a prawn and getting eating by a lion not long afterwards.
DIE ANTWOORD's new clip 'Cookie Thumper' isn't that outrageous, but does have a scene with front woman Yo-landi Vi$$er, I guess emptying her bladder on a timber floor (for want of a better phrase).
The video was directed by Yo-landi's partner in crime NINJA and tells the story of a little orphan girl who has fallen in love with a pretty scary gangster. The guy has no front teeth, and wears contacts making the iris' of his eyes a milky white, which is quite a creepy combo, not to mention the numbered tattoos he has going on.

There have been many attempts to interpret what DIE ANTWOORD are trying to say here, but none of them really hit the nail on the head. I'm assuming there is some hidden meaning behind all this, but who really knows for sure other than DIE ANTWOORD themselves?
The up-beat track is catchy and hopefully it will feature on the duo's new album Donker Mag. There hasn't been much information released regarding the upcoming LP, but the estimated release date is sometime in February 2014. With DIE ANTWOORD playing themselves in a new sci-fi comedy film, I'm sure the album will come soon enough, the pair just need to put their acting skills into play and hopefully keep all their underwear on this time.
