Subsequent to releasing their latest album Hanging Gardens, CLASSIXX have teamed up with Urban Outfitters to release the clip to their track 'All You're Waiting For' featuring vocals from NANCY WHANG.
Directed by Tim K of Gifted Youth, 'All You're Waiting For' takes us on a private yacht, kicking off with a butler and some deckhands preparing certain areas of both the interior and exterior as if some event is about to take place. Well, it doesn't. It's all for the fabulous Nancy Whang of LCD Soundsystem.
We watch her character lounge around in extravagant hats and expensive beachwear while her fellow shipmates slave around her, supposedly fulfilling all of Whang's desires. All the while, she doesn't seem all that pleased. Sure, she gets to pat puppies, sip/scull martinis and perve on her dancing butler (whatever you're into), but you get the impression that she's a little lonely.
This is a nice scenario for the tune, as although it does instrumentally sound suited to a Summer getaway, the lyricism reflects a strong need, impatiently waiting for a certain someone. The clip features a special cameo appearance by the Classixx members themselves - Michael David and Tyler Blake.

Classixx will be joining Chromatics and Uptimo for Urban Outfitter's Afterfest after Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago this Friday! Look out for Classixx' 'All You're Waiting For' remixes EP, due for release 23rd July. It will feature Switch and Eric Broucek's take on the single.
