Live Review: WATCH: ASAP Rocky ‘Purple Kisses' (Official Video)

The latest film clip to come from ASAP ROCKY is draped in so much purple, that even the artist formerly known as Prince would be proud. Its set in a hazy room populated with women, fancy tumblers and smoky vision.

Kaleidoscopic graphics melt into visuals of homegirls touching noir lipstick coated mouths as ASAP slowly drips hip-hop honey to deliciously relaxed beats. Wandering hands entangle themselves with purple bandanas, surly smoke rings and a constant flow of beautiful nameless women.

“Its so easy to fall in love” drones on, and juxtaposes against the flitting images of cocaine, marijuana and the like. You should expect sex, drugs and purple ass in A$AP’s clip which leaves you feeling high and a little dazed with all the debauchery. I feel a shower in the Purple Rain may be necessary to wash away the sins that ‘Purple Kisses’ incite.
