Finally Returning To Australia, Faithless Are Paying Homage To The Beloved Maxi Jazz While Looking To The Future

Live Review: WATCH: Arcade Fire 'Reflektor' (Official Video)

The title track and clip to Arcade Fire's new record 'Reflektor' has just landed!

Finally, it's here, the first taste of ARCADE FIRE's fourth record Reflektor! Working as the follow up to 2010's The SuburbsReflektor's first single (sharing the same title) is a 7-minute peep at what to expect after waiting a good three years for the full-length record!

To coincide with its audio release, the clip to 'Reflektor' has also landed. Directed by Anton Corbijn, it's a wondrous episode featuring gigantic masks, disco balls and an assortment of other reflective objects. Shot in black and white, the Arcade Fire crew go on a roadtrip where all of these props appear; each being utilised by the six-piece band. Almost a cult clip, it's one you must pay attention to  the whole way through as it offers enough obscurity that plays with the lyricism for you to interpret it in any way you wish!

The track itself is quite different to previous Arcade Fire material. Driving a funky beat the entire way through, 'Reflektor' maintains a dance feel, still managing to also sustain the familiar signature Arcade Fire voice. In saying that, it's no surprise that LCD Soundsystem's James Murphy produced the new record!

The 12" single to 'Reflektor' is available in only a few stores. The entire record is due for release on 29th October via Merge.
