"Lyrically, the album is underwhelming and constantly returns to a syncopated vocal style."

Underground Lovers frontman Vincent Giarrusso is back on the scene as solo singer/songwriter Vincey. With his new album, Everything Was Singing... Everything, Vincey spreads his electronic rock wings into diverse instrumentation and a tonal shift from his new-romantic leanings.

Lyrically, the album is underwhelming and constantly returns to a syncopated vocal style, which clashes with the album's ambient, alt-pop feel. Predominantly influenced by the likes of Death Cab For Cutie and The Shins, Vincey has a definite winner in the penultimate track Stay And Wait, but the rest of Everything Was Singing... Everything comes across as ill-thought-out and underdeveloped.
