Album Review: Vida Cain - The Rule Of Gravity

24 September 2013 | 3:10 pm | Chantelle Gabriel

Other stand-outs include Miss Communique, Cocaine Psycorella and of course the AFL and F1 racing anthem Only Love Things.

Vida Cain are the Inception of bands, made up of artists formally from other bands. Even after naming themselves after lead singer Josh Johnstone's grandmother, Vida Cain's debut release is far from soft. Having only been together sixteen months, their collective industry experience is evident. Title track Rule Of Gravity sets the tone for the rock infused release. It's powerful, it's catchy and it's well put together. Just like the album as a whole. Other stand-outs include Miss Communique, Cocaine Psycorella and of course the AFL and F1 racing anthem Only Love Things.
