About halfway through Do Not Irony, Veronica Milsom acknowledges the futility of trying to find meaning in the title. The attractive, female and Jewish Milsom also acknowledges the inevitable Sarah Silverman comparisons (or cunningly jumps the gun on them) and with good reason – Milsom excels in sketch comedy. She's smart, funny and forces you to acknowledge gender and good looks in all manner of uncomfortable ways. When this patchwork becomes a show, Milsom should be well on her way to claiming not just Silverman's throne, but her own place in comedy.
