We’ve expressed our love for Melbourne due Two Can many times and well, we’re going to do it again now. Their Continuance EP has been sweeping through the internet like a cool wave and everyone seems to be enjoying it’s refreshing coolness as they find it. The EP has a collection of tracks that just sound blissful and one that has only just popped up is ‘Vacation’.
We’ve started spring in the southern hemisphere and the warmer weather is slowly making it’s way in. As summer rolls around, everyone will be curating their poolside playlists and ‘Vacation’ will feel very snug in between all of those tropical-infused synths you’ll be looking at.
Opening with some echoing synths, ‘Vacation’ slowly builds itself up by adding in some steel drums and claps to ease you into the fun. When it jumps into it’s full melody you already can feel the sun beating down on your back. It’ll be something that happens every time you listen to this track, whether it’s actually sunny outside at the time is not really important.
‘Vacation’ feels almost like the dream you had about your perfect summer. It sounds airy as well as tropical and has the capacity to trigger some wonderful memories of beers on the beach. Two Can may live in dreary Melbourne, but they definitely know what a sunshine filled time sounds like.
