Twenty One PilotsIndie-pop duo Twenty One Pilots has released a smashing fourth album.
Heavy Dirty Soul opens like a Prodigy song but ends up flowing into a hip hop sound, while Ride is very hip hop/pop with a Jamaican beat. Tyler Joseph’s vocals are incredible, flowing from alternative to hip hop – one talented man when you listen to Message Man‘s lyrics. The beats become infectious in The Judge and Tear In My Heart, while Fairly Local is a darker song with engaging lyrics. Altogether an intriguing album.
